The With Great Power quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley is a key story mission that unlocks the secrets of Dazzle Beach. Players must explore the mysterious Mystical Cave and overcome various environmental puzzles to restore the Orb of Power. Following a clear guide ensures you can complete each objective smoothly without getting stuck on tricky riddles.
Unlocking the Mystical Cave on Dazzle Beach
To begin the quest, speak with Merlin after clearing the Dark Thorns blocking the path to Dazzle Beach. He will instruct you to search for a hidden cave located near the eastern cliffs of the biome. Upon reaching the entrance, you will find a locked doorway requiring a specialized key to proceed.
Inside the cave, you will encounter Ursula, who is trapped behind a magical barrier. Speaking with her provides valuable clues and grants you the Crystal Key needed to venture deeper into the subterranean chambers. Inserting this key into the nearby pedestal unseals the path to the main puzzle challenges.
Solving the Three Gateway Riddles
The first chamber requires placing three specific gemstones into the hands of statues surrounding the gateway. You will need to bring a Garnet, a Peridot, and an Aquamarine mined from around the valley. Matching each stone to its corresponding statue color unlocks the barrier to the next level.
In the second gate, the puzzle tasks you with planting and growing three specific crops in front of the statues. You must plant Tomato seeds, Wheat seeds, and Carrot seeds in the soil plots provided. Watering them until they fully mature will open the way down to the final chamber.
The third gate requires cooking a special meal using the crops harvested from the previous room. Combine the fresh Tomato, Wheat, and Carrot at the cooking station to prepare the Veggie Pasta dish. Eating or placing this meal onto the nearby pedestal removes the final barrier blocking the water source.
Retrieving and Restoring the Orb of Power
After reaching the bottom of the Mystical Cave, use your Royal Fishing Rod to cast into the golden ripples in the water. Reeling in your catch reveals the lost Orb of Power needed to cleanse the surrounding area. Collect the orb and head back up to the surface of Dazzle Beach.
Locate the Pillar of Power standing near the shoreline and interact with it to insert the cleansed orb. Doing so dispels the dark fog across Dazzle Beach and frees Ursula from her watery containment inside the cave. Completing this task brings peace back to the coastline and opens up new storylines for your valley.
